Declining prices drive more Filipino switching to LED lights

According to a report, declining LED prices are driving more Filipino consumers to convert from traditional CFLs to LED lights, which has increased LED sales of LED lighting exporters in the Philippines market.

The switch to LED is happening and the people now are increasingly aware. They are really viewing energy conservation to be something that can be really helpful for them.

The Filipino lighting industry recorded a 13% share for LED in 2010. Dropping LED prices is the main factor behind consumers switch to LEDs and it is estimated that 45% of Filipino consumers will be switching to LED lights by 2015.
